About Me

Monica is a NASM Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer

After spending my first 18 years committed to training in all styles of dance, I knew that taking care of my body was the greatest thing I could do to ensure I could continue in my art. As I transitioned from the dance to the group fitness scene, finding that the community in both groups supported the same ideals of both physical and mental health through movement, I learned that movement has the ability to bring joy and feeling of accomplishment, no matter what style or format it comes in.

Immersing myself in the New York City fitness scene first as a student, I learned what motivated me to come to group classes, and what I longed for in those environments. Knowing I wanted to instill confidence and emphasize empowerment in my classes, I’ve created programs that call you to your highest self, while meeting you where you’re at in the process. My goal is to challenge you so you realize what you are truly capable of.
